| Filezilla | Open source ftp programme for transfering files between computers. As good or better than most commercial offerings. |
| Rich text editors | |
| FCKeditor | Rich text editor that can be used within a website to edit database entries or web pages. Lots of feature. |
| RTE | Cross browser RTE written by Kevin Roth. Easy to set up. |
| Pop-up info boxes | |
| OVerLib | overLIB is a JavaScript library created to enhance websites with small popup information boxes (like tooltips) to help visitors around your website. |
